THE "HYGIENIC WEEK" OF THE COLLEGE

In order to educate its students in various fields, the administration of the college organized a “Hygienic Week” from April 12 to 19. The purpose of that week was to highlight the main diseases that threaten the new generation and the means to prevent their occurrences. cont

FINE ARTS EDUCATION THROUGH THE
ACTIVITIES OF HAMAZKAYIN

Fine arts have a major role in students’ education. Part of a student’s education is done through Fine Arts. Through singing, dancing, and theatre taste is ennobled, personality is created, and language and culture are loved.

To make the Armenian student take part in all of these fine arts, the college participated during the past months in a series of activities, all of them organized by Hamazkayin. cont

PARTICIPATION IN LOKH'S NATIONAL DAY

On Saturday, May 11, the dancing group of the college made the opening of LOKH’s “National Day” which was under the patronage of the municipalities of Bourj Hammoud and Ainjar.

On this occasion, the dancing group presented “Ghapama” popular dance (the dance teacher, Nanor Donerian-Keleshian).

THE JUNIOR BOYS THE WINNERS OF
LEVAM'S MINI-FOOTBALL

After two months of enthusiastic competition, the junior boys of the college (1997-1998) won the title in LEVAM’s mini-football after defeating Hovagimian-Manougian juniors on Saturday, May 11.

With the efforts of the sport teacher, Mr. Sako Sevajian, and the leader of the team Garo Shadoyan, the team won the first place with one defeat (Khanamirian) and five victories: Mekhitarian (6-0), Harach (5-3), Kevork Harboyan (7-4), Yeghishe Manougian (5-1), and Hovagimian-Manougian (4-2).
